Home for me is Bangkok, Thailand. Being raised in a multicultural household meant that I've grown up having a variety of meals. I'd say my mom and sister are the chefs of the kitchen, they're really the ones who know all of the Thai dishes. Being so far away from home has really invigorated my cooking spirit, so I hope to better understand food as a part of my identity going forward in this class!
