These are all just replicas. To my knowledge, only one or two of the original mile markers survived, and this is not it.

It is not surprising that, before embarking on this project, I never though to take any pictures of the fences and pavement at the viewpoint. However, I am wishing that I had more of my own material from that period. By the time I started this project, this area was "recreated." I hesitate to say "restored," because that would look very different than how it looks today.
