1.To bridge the gap between research in written corrective feedback and classroom practice
2. To reflect on similarities and differences in written corrective feedback in L1 and L2 contexts
3. To discuss the connection between research in written corrective feedback and teacher training
4. To disseminate research on written corrective feedback at all educational levels (compulsory and non-compulsory educational context)
The conference will be in person and will take place at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona on the 5th and 6th of June 2025.
We invite researchers, teachers, and teacher trainers to submit proposals for 20-minute papers (followed by questions) on the following topics:
Written corrective feedback practices in the classroom
Teacher and student beliefs about written corrective feedback
Teacher training and written corrective feedback
Written corrective feedback in elementary and secondary school contexts (in L1 or L2)
Written corrective feedback at the university level (in L1 or L2)
Research methodologies in studies of written corrective feedback
Research evidence on written corrective feedback and its impact in the classroom
Connections between written and oral corrective feedback
Interactional written corrective feedback
Online written corrective feedback
Collaborative written corrective feedback
The efficacy of written corrective feedback
Written corrective feedback and generative AI
Presentations can be done in any language, but note that there will be no translation services.
