Citation databases have been created to evaluate publications. It will allow you to count citations and determine which articles or publications are the most cited ones. 

A citation database can be used to identify between authors with the same name or to present the writer's name in multiple ways. Analyze search results to display the quantity of documents grouped by year, author, source, affiliation, or subject areas. 

You can use any of the computer terminals, devices, or WiFi connections while on the UP Manila campus. Our library staff at the Information Desk is standing by to assist you.

OpenAthens is an authentication service. It allows you to use your UP Webmail login credentials (@up.edu.ph) to access subscribed library resources both on and off-campus.

An ADS account is used to avail of internet connectivity from within the UP Manila premises.

You may send an email to [email protected] to request an account. Indicate "Request for an ADS account" in the subject line. Provide your Full Name, Nickname, UP email address (if any), active non-UP email address, College/office/department and designation (if non-student).

Also, prepare a clear electronic capture of the following:

• UPM ID;

• Appointment or acceptance letter;

• Latest copy of Form 5 (if student);

• Contract of service (if employee or staff)

Yes, and it is possible at the computers available at CAMP Library. 

Students can bring their own laptop and computer tablet as electronic outlets are accessible within the library premises.
