Hi, I'm Diana! I am a bioarchaeologist and dental anthropologist.
I am currently studying Evolutionary Anthropology at the University of California, Davis (UCD). My research examines life history and health patterns in historic-period California populations from the San Francisco Bay Area. I use stable isotopic analysis, trace element analysis, and dental proteomics to better understand how people lived in the past.
I serve as a research assistant for two labs at UCD:
the Archaeometry Lab (under Dr. Jelmer W. Eerkens, UCD Anthropology) where I specialize in stable isotopic and trace element analysis.
the Parker Lab (under Dr. Glendon Parker, UCD Environmental Toxicology) where I specialize in dental proteomics.
