Student Scholarship

HEAT offers student scholarships to aid in advancing education and careers within the hospitality industry. Scholarships are available to students graduating high school in 2024 and intend to pursue higher education in the field of Hospitality, Culinary Arts and Tourism. 

Two scholarships will be awarded at $1,000 each.

Selection will be based solely on the information and references provided with the application. Financial need will not be a significant factor in selecting recipients. A committee consisting of representatives of the state level HEAT Board of Directors will choose successful applicants. This scholarship will be awarded in full upon receipt of registration verification to an accredited Culinary/Hospitality program.

We've implemented a two step, on-line application procedure.

Student Application to be completed by interested candidate and must upload transcript of grades showing a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.0 (on 4.0 scale) and one-page essay.

*Please note: Recommending Teacher must be a member of HEAT.
