Our Reading Leadership group have been busy preparing our Book Fairy Project! Every month Seaton School will hide books around the community for anyone to find. Various books for both children and adults will be hidden around the local area; think nearby streets, Seaton Park, Aberdeen Beach, Aberdeen University campus, maybe even some local businesses...

If you find a book you can tweet us a photo. The book is yours to keep, or you can read it and hide it in the community again for someone else to enjoy. We can't wait for the book hunts to begin, and our Book Fairies are excited to see who finds them... 

In December 2024, Seaton School were proud to be awarded the Silver Reading Schools Accreditation. This accreditation recognises that we have built a culture of reading for pleasure within our school and community.

Staff and pupils have worked hard to encourage many opportunities for everyone to read for pleasure, through learning and teaching opportunities and community events. We are currently working towards our Gold Accreditation which will involve completing reading collaboration projects with the community. Please watch this space for more information...
