The Waltham High School Guidance Department is part of Waltham Public School’s Pupil Personnel Services team and is dedicated to educating and supporting the whole child.

Guidance counselors are assigned to students alphabetically by grade and work with students throughout their four years at WHS. Guidance counselors provide support for students in three main areas:  

• academic success

• college & career planning

• personal/social issues 

Counselors work with students individually and in groups and coordinate different events throughout the year for students and/or families.
