I am an applied economist at the German Federal Ministry of Finance. Previously, I worked as researcher at the Swiss Economic Institute KOF at ETH Zurich in Switzerland. I am KOF Research Fellow, IfW Kiel Fellow and CESifo affiliate member.

Current research projects

• Screening of inward foreign investments: economic effects on mergers and acquisitions and on venture capital

• The politics and effects of Covid-19 in Switzerland and the regional autonomy of the Canton of Jura

My thesis  on "The Political Economy of Foreign Aid: Allocation, Timing, and Effectiveness" was awarded with the Young Researcher Prize by the Verein für Socialpolitik and the  KfW Development Bank.
