My research interests are in the intersection of knowledge organization (KO) and sociotechnical systems, applying them for data curation as well as the development, evaluation, and enhancement of KO systems. My current research focuses on exploring data practices and KO systems in the earthquake engineering community, studying music literature indexing, examining bibliographic enhancement metadata for library catalogs, and exploring researchers’ participation in research information management systems (e.g., Google Scholar, ResearchGate, ORCID).
