I am a Research Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland. My research interests are cryptocurrencies, bank risk and regulation, and financial market infrastructures. Recently, I have become interested in the topic of financial exclusion, and whether digital currencies can help address some of the reasons for exclusion. My work has been published in journals including Review of Finance, Management Science and Journal of Banking & Finance.
I completed my PhD in Financial Economics at the University of Oxford's Saïd Business School in 2019. Until April 2020, I was a Senior Economist at the Bank of England.
