FLORIN CUCU

I am an economist specializing in international trade, migration, and political economy. 

Between 2020 and 2023, I was a postdoctoral researcher at the European Center for Advanced Research in Economics and Statistics (ECARES) at the Université Libre de Bruxelles. At ECARES, I worked with Paola Conconi (University of Oxford). Between 2018 and 2020, I was a Temporary Teaching and Research Assistant at Sciences Po.

In 2020, I earned a Ph.D. in Economics from Sciences Po. I also hold a Master's degree in Economics and Public Policy from Sciences Po, the École Polytechnique, and the École Nationale de la Statistique de l'Administration Économique and a Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences from Sciences Po. Between 2011 and 2012, I visited Keble College at the University of Oxford. From 2017 to 2018, I was a Fox International Fellow at the University of Yale.

I have published in the European Economic Review and the Journal of Urban Economics.
