Tata STRIVE and AWS re/Start have teamed up for the Cloud Practitioner program which is a full-time, classroom/online based skills development and training program. Entirely focused on unemployed and underemployed individuals, this program prepares learners for entry-level careers in the cloud operations.
AWS re/Start is a free, 12-week, full-time skills development program that prepares unemployed or underemployed individuals for entry-level careers in the cloud. AWS re/Start is collaborating with Tata STRIVE, an initiative of the Tata Community Initiatives Trust, aimed at actively bridging the gap between vocational education and industry needs.
AWS re/Start graduates pursue entry-level cloud roles in operations, site reliability, and infrastructure support. In these positions, graduates use Python scripts, support Linux operating systems, operate network infrastructures, deploy basic AWS core services, and carry out initial troubleshooting.
Each cohort of learners, supported by professional mentors and accredited trainers, completes a 12-week training featuring scenario-based learning, hands-on labs, and coursework. AWS re/Start provides learners with resume building and interview coaching as they prepare for interviews and meetings with potential employers. The program’s mission is to help unemployed and underemployed individuals who might not otherwise have access to the required technical education to develop the skills they need to pursue entry-level cloud roles. Tata STRIVE helps learners gain job-specific skills, connect with employers, and embark on their cloud careers.
Eligibility criteria: Applicant must be a STEM Graduate / BCA / MCA / BSc IT / B Tech / M Tech / BE.
A Learner's Intake Assessment (LIA) must be cleared to enroll in the program. The candidates who perform within the desired assessment range should still be assessed for the ability to successfully complete the program, motivation for a cloud career, and general employability. The learners should be able to learn and apply technical concepts through the guided instruction of the AWS re/Start program.

As a Cloud Support Practitioner, you'll support businesses to find cloud-based solutions for their challenges. It's a creative role, with a lot of teamwork and problem-solving.

You are not in full-time employment or working regularly more than 16 hours per week
You are currently not working in the education or training sector
You have the legal right to live and work in India
You are interested in a career in technology and are able to demonstrate the same
You are available to undergo training for 12 consecutive weeks (Full days; Monday to Saturday 9 AM to 5:30 PM)
You possess computing equipment and a steady internet connection to undergo the training
You are ok to start working immediately post training should you find a job opportunity

Learner's Intake Assessment (LIA)
This phase determines/assesses students competency with respect to Quant Skills, Logical Reasoning & Data Interpretation, English Proficiency through MCQ (Multiple Choice Question) based assessment.
In this, learners are assessed on the basis of communication skills, professionalism, motivational fit, program fit, and willingness to learn.
Once the decision is taken, candidates will be notified via email regarding their admission and next steps.
