TK/Kdg Care Program

GUSD TK/Kdg Care Program

The TK/Kdg Care Program offers a safe enriching environment where children are provided a time to enjoy indoor and outdoor activities. We incorporate art, dramatic play, reading, stories, and games that support students development of social and emotional skills.

TK/Kinderbridge Only Session: 1:30-3:00 pm Monday -Friday (All School Sites)

TK/Kdg Care Program Session: 1:30-5:30 pm Monday-Friday (El Camino, Isla Vista,La Patera 1:30-6:00 pm)

TK/Kdg Care Program Highlights

Mindfulness & Check-in Time: We provide a 10-15 minute exercise where we practice to relax the body and mind.

Social Emotional Learning Activities: We provide daily social emotional activites that help develop self-awareness, self managment, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision making.

ASP Staff

Our TK/Kdg staff consist of well trained, nurturing individuals that enjoy working with students. They support by engaging students in creative play, free play and structured activities.

Snacks

A healthy snack is provided daily, it consists of a dry snack and a fresh fruit. You may provide your child an additional healthy snack.
