INdAM Workshop:
Trends and perspectives in the analysis of PDEs
The main goal of the proposed event is twofold. On the one hand, this conference aims at presenting recent advances in the theoretical study of PDEs, with a special emphasis on models from fluid and quantum mechanics and related systems of equations. On the other hand, it aims at bringing together leading experts and young researchers in the analysis of PDEs related to those different topics, with the purpose of creating and enforcing interactions between the various communities.
Another aim of this conference is to give a broad perspective of problems and ideas arising in the mathematical study of models from fluid dynamics and quantum mechanics, as well as of modern tools and techniques which are employed in their study. Thus, topics of the conference will encompass well-posedness and ill-posedness results, regularity issues, singular perturbation problems, boundary methods, asymptotic analysis tools, dispersive techniques.
The conference will take place in Rome at Istituto Nazionale di Alta Matematica (Piazzale Aldo Moro 5) on the 16 - 20 September 2024. The conference will start on Monday 16th at 14:00 and will end on Friday 20th at 12:30.
