Hemant Kumar Aggarwal

About Me

I am working as a Staff Scientist at GE Healthcare India. Earlier I did postdoctoral research with Prof. Mathews Jacob in the Computational Biomedical Imaging Group (CBIG) at the University of Iowa, USA. I did my Ph.D. with Dr. Angshul Majumdar from IIIT-Delhi, India.

Research Interests

I have broad research interests in inverse problems in Imaging and Deep Learning. My recent projects involve combining the power of classical optimization-based techniques with deep-learned regularizers for medical imaging applications. During my Ph.D., I primarily worked on compressed sensing and sparse recovery algorithms with applications in hyperspectral imaging.
