My main research interests lie in the field of development economics. Much of my work is on discrimination and human capital investments in low-income countries. I have published my papers in the American Economic Journal: Applied Economics, Review of Economics and Statistics, Economic Journal, and other peer-reviewed journals. Currently, I am working on development issues in Bangladesh, Ghana, India, Malaysia, Myanmar, Pakistan, and Uganda.
Research Fields: Development, applied microeconomics.
