ABOUT US
The ASA is an on campus organization that bring home closer to international student from Africa. At UNLV, our goal is to serve international student by helping new student navigate the transition from home to the school environment as well as promote African culture on campus through our various insightful events. We hope that everyone who is part of the ASA would find a family they can belong to and gain useful support that they need.

LIYA NAPOLLION
Liya was born in Ethiopia . She had her undergraduate program at the University of Reno Where studied Mechanical Engineering.
She moved to UNLV for the Ph.D. program in Mechanical Engineering. Currently she serves at the ASA as the treasurer

Blessing Imade
Blessing is from Nigeria. She is pursuing her master's in public health and has completed her undergraduate program at the University of Benin, Nigeria. She currently serves as the event coordinator on the ASA e-Board.
