Biddeford Pool Land Trust
Biddeford Pool Land Trust
The Biddeford Pool Land Trust is an organization based out of Biddeford Pool. Recently they have been working on a conservation project, where they aimed and succeeded to purchase an acreage, formerly a Nunnery, in Biddeford Pool. Their goal is to restore the land to its natural and former beauty. This fall, the project is starting and should be in full swing in the spring!

As members of the southern Maine community, our hearts are broken surrounding the shootings in Lewiston, Maine. Many of our Senators, friends, and collegues are from the area, and we wish them nothing but strength and healing during this difficult time.

The Ripich Commons on the Biddeford Campus is a central location for all UNE students. We were happy to donate money for wireless charging stands to meet student demands and needs.
Senators of the Month!
Senators of the Month!
Each month, members of the Senate get to vote for one person (excluding the Executive Council) that has gone above and beyond as a Senator. These Senators are recognized by their peers for their contributions to general meetings, their committees, and other USG events. Each month, the chosen Senator receives a custom USG quarter-zip and a $10 giftcard to the UNE bookstore!
Throughout September, Ariane was an active member of the Student Affairs Committee and a driving force of the success of the first Stormies Nightclub. Along with staffing the entire event, Ariane secured the DJ!
Throught October, Megan was an active member of the Public Relations Committee. She helped so much with the Open Forum and designed many of the pages seen on our USG website!
Throughout November, Olivia was an active member of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee. Olivia is committed to fostering a more inclusive environment at UNE, and she is always willing to help out at USG events!
Nate is always respectful to everyone on USG. Being a student-athlete while still making time to serve the students is something that should be awarded.
