I am a fourth year Ph.D. candidate at UC Davis under the advisement of Abby Thompson. I study surgery on knots in 3-manifolds and their relation to the smooth structure certain of 4-manifolds. More specifically I'm interested in knot surgeries, sutured manifolds, surface bundles, and how these concepts can be used to study the smooth structures of 4-manifolds.

I am also the Lead Host and Co-founder of the UC Davis Student Run Topology and Geometry Seminar (more info coming out soon).
