Andreas Winter

Humboldt Professor for Quantum Information and Computation with the Institute of Computer Science, Department of Mathematics & CS, University of Cologne.

(Currently I'm on leave from ICREA, and the Grup d'Informació Quàntica, Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.)

My research interests revolve around quantum and classical information theory, and more broadly anything that could be described as "physics of information". Beyond that, I am just a regular mathematician who gets excited about problems of geometry, probability and discrete mathematics.
