- learn more about Conflict Transformation (CT) at Middlebury
- hear from students, directors, staff, and faculty engaging with CT around the world
- discuss the value of embracing constructive conflict while studying abroad
Conflict Transformation (CT) will frame our conversations. CT assumes that conflict is a natural part of human relationships and that constructive conflict can deepen relationships and advance social change. In immersive international education, CT is used as a framework for identifying and responding to cultural differences, unmet expectations, and the political, identity, and interpersonal conflicts that students encounter abroad.
Conflict Transformation (CT) will frame our conversations. The Davis Collaborative in Conflict Transformation at Middlebury College is supporting this conference. Accommodations (2 nights) and meals will be provided to participants. In addition, we have stipends of up to $500 for travel to Middlebury. See this page for more details.
