I work on Labor Economics, Political Economy, and Macro/Growth. My recent research focuses on:
Immigration, ICTs, and social networks
Xenophobia and populism
The political economy of growth and structural change
Religion, gender, and labor markets
My Job Market Paper documents the effects of new ICTs on immigrants’ social integration (language, citizenship), spatial segregation, and economic outcomes in the US. My other papers are (i) Rej. & Resubmit at Econometrica, (ii) Forthcoming at the American Economic Association: P&P, and (iii) Under review in top-5 / top-10 journals.
