This session will be provided by our Local Mental Health Authority, Bluebonnet Trails Community Services. As required by §153.1015, School district employees who regularly interact with students are employees working on a school campus, including, but not limited to, teachers, coaches, librarians, instructional coaches, counselors, nurses, administration, administrative support personnel, student support personnel, paraprofessionals, substitutes, custodians, cafeteria staff, bus drivers, crossing guards, and district special programs liaisons. This session is available to ALL staff. Time is going to be from 8:30-4:30 with an hour lunch. All staff who interact with students must be trained by 2028-2029 school year.

Science safety is paramount in any laboratory setting, especially in educational environments where students engage in hands-on experiments and investigations. This course is designed to equip educators with the knowledge, skills, and practices necessary to maintain a safe and secure laboratory environment for students and instructors alike.
